A: It's free for musicians to join the Fire Union and it's pretty painless to sign up. All Canadian metal bands are eligible to join.

| Q: Our band or business has more than one member. Can we receive more than one copy of the newsletter? |
A: While we would like to accommodate all the members of a band or business, we ask that they limit themselves to one newsletter. This helps reduce redundancy and postage costs. We feel that the newsletters can easily be shared.

| Q: What kind of materials can be submitted for insertion with the newsletters? |
A: We are currently accepting stickers, flyers, and business cards. Compact discs are too expensive to include with the newsletter at this point. We are looking into economical ways of including music as a part of the newsletter. We'll keep everyone posted as this comes together.

| Q: What happens to the Fire Union proceeds? |
A: One goal of the Fire Union is the achievement of self-sufficiency. Corporate Membership and advertising revenue go toward covering the cost of printing, postage, and other projects such as compilation albums.

A: Great! We are glad the Fire Union is working for you and are always happy to accommodate new Fire Union members! We do ask that the details of discounts stay private, including the business involved and the amount of your discount. These discounts are only available to Fire Union members and may upset clientele who don't qualify for them.

| Q: As a Corporate Member I would like to change my advertised discount. |
A: We ask Corporate Members to uphold their advertised discounts for six months - the period of two newsletters. After which you may amend your membership status or the offered discount. This is to prevent baiting-&-switching tactics and to ensure the integrity of the Fire Union. We hope you understand!

| Q: As a Corporate Member how do I ensure that a customer is a Fire Union member? |
A: Corporate Members may use the "Contact & Submissions" section of this website to verify membership. To ensure a prompt reply please provide your Membership Name and Email Address. Set "Contact Reason" to "Membership Verification" and enter the customer's Membership Name and Membership Number into the Text box. A Fire Union representative will respond as soon as possible, usually the same day.
